Baccarat is a popular card game in casinos worldwide. The game is played between the player and the banker. Each round has three possible outcomes: player wins, banker wins, or tie.
To start, players place bets on either the player hand, banker hand, or a tie. Two cards are dealt to both player and banker. The hand closest to 9 wins. Cards 2-9 are worth face value, 10s and face cards are 0, and aces are 1.
If either hand totals 8 or 9 (natural), no more cards are drawn. Otherwise, drawing rules determine if a third card is dealt. The banker\“s action depends on the player\“s third card.
Baccarat is simple with no strategy decisions for players. Bets on banker pay 0.95:1 (5% commission), player bets pay 1:1, and tie bets pay 8:1 or 9:1. |
